Meditation can increase mindfulness through the awareness that arises by engaging attention in the present moment.  We will take time to involve some different forms of meditation (silent or guided), practices that attend to the self in activity (e.g. body scans, awareness of breath or the self in gentle movement).  The goal of this class is that you can take this practice and incorporate it anywhere, anytime.
