Artful Cards

Enjoy taking time to create cards with hand-made artwork to give to friends and family. We will be using various mediums by which to adorn our “artful cards”. Card project prompts will be inspired by specific art techniques, particular subject matter, or an art style or inspiration artwork. We will be drawing, painting, and/or collaging on pre-made blank cards or postcards (usually these are made from watercolor paper or mixed-media paper). Each card “activity” will also be time for you to have fun with the process of making a “mini-artwork” for the day! All experience levels are welcome, including beginners. Students will supply their own materials - a list will be provided.
