Would you like to learn new ways to simply and easily cook delicious meals with fresh, nutritious ingredients? This introductory cooking course will develop the basic kitchen skills of beginner home cooks who have little to no cooking experience. Students will have fun learning how to plan simple recipes, measure and prepare ingredients, and efficiently store food for make-ahead meals. Throughout this four-week course, students will gain confidence in the kitchen and will take home four tasty breakfast, lunch, or dinner recipes to use at home. Lettuce have some fun learning new ways to create restaurant-quality salads combining fresh ingredients and unique dressings. We will explore everything from light, zesty, deli salads to savory, protein-rich salads. This introductory cooking course will increase the basic kitchen skills of beginner home cooks who have little to no cooking experience. Throughout this four-week course, students will gain confidence in the kitchen and will take home four simple salad recipes to use as sides or main dishes.
